So what have you done today?

Interesting question, isn't it?

It is one I find myself asking usually first thing in the morning.  More in the form of "what am I going to do today?"  Yes, yes...I have a planner and a calendar that I keep but none of us ever really know what the day is going to hold.  There are the "sudden changes" that just seem to pop up and the unforeseeable things.

Personally...

I have attended a meeting at my office in regards to some new construction listings that we are going to hold open houses for.  Builder was a nice guy.  Young, about my age and definetely knows where he wants to go with his business.

I have also emailed and tried to contact 13 FSBO sellers.  Email always arrives, rather they read it or not, but the phone sometimes just can't seem to make the connection.  Everyone always talks of the challenges of the FSBO seller.  I agree they are challenging but darn fun.

So that has kinda been my day.  What have you done?  Or what have you yet to do? If you haven't started...what in the heck are you waiting for?  The business is not going to find you so get out there and get amongst them and get the job done!

Raining yet again in NC

 Piggy pic

Just unbelievable.  The weather man has actually gotten some forecasts right.  Of course maybe that has nothing to do with the Tropical Storm that just blew through.  Bascially I need some sunshine...had enough rain.  Ok rant over.

Let's talk about leads.

Maybe it is just me I don't know but I have noticed a huge influx lately of leads that are coming in that are bogus.  Seems as the consumers go up and down in the buying cycle and sometimes they give ya the "good stuff" and sometime they come up with really interesting names.

Got one yesterday for Berry Beverage.  At the time I was busy and it didn't really dawn on me what the name was.  But, come on, the phone number was a dead giveaway...(123) 456-7891.  Oh yea, jumped right on calling that one.  Well I guess the Google Monster made another couple bucks for that funny.

Anyway...time to get to work today...well actually past time...but the rain has me dragging.
